Welcome!

 About me

Welcome to my Blogpost,

I am Selim Korfez, 17 years old. From Turkey but before coming to England have lived in Italy for three years. While I was studying in Italy, my family decided to move to England, and after all that I am currently studying computer science at DMUIC.

Interested in working with computers, designing, and drawing.

Nowadays everyone works with computers but it is not all working for me. I mostly use my computer for playing fps games and watching stuff. It was not different before either, it might differ with the second option but playing games is always a present feature of computers in our lives.

Watching stuff might contain; watching TV series, watching Youtube videos, watching Anime, etc.

By mentioning watching Youtube videos, I want to add also that Youtube videos are not only entertaining content but also an easy way to improve skills in any manner. If I give an example from myself it would be car design sketching and 2d character drawings as drawing on white paper and digital at the same time. That I have improved myself without getting an education but just merely watching tutorial videos from professional people.

Car designing is a hard sector to study in higher education. Need to have free time and not financial status for dealing with all expenses. If I was not studying Computer science, I probably would have studied Art and Design. Because I have an interest in drawing and putting something together on blank paper. It makes you feel like accomplishing something every time you draw something successfully.

Drawing on paper can be hard at times. However, whenever you finish a drawing it is an irreplaceable feeling of accomplishment. I mostly draw for fun.
Digital drawings can take more time than drawing on paper. However, the result you would get is still undeniably great. I personally prefer to draw it on paper first and then copy it to digital art with digital coloring.

My blog post will cover some useful information on fundamentals of the computer skills.
