 General Questions Analysis

Software(s) used on a daily basis

According to the chart above showing the applications used on daily basis, Whatsapp is the most common application used, whilst Google Meeting is the least used application. Other than Whatsapp, Instagram, Teams, and Discord are applications mostly used on daily basis.

Services used for data storage and share

According to the graph, it can be said that people mostly use Google Drive and iCloud for data storage and sharing. Other than these two, people also choose to use a hard disk drive.

Privacy and Security of Data

While 40% of the answers show that four people do worry about their data security and privacy. However, while the other four are not worrying about it, the rest two have never thought about it.

Worries?

According to the chart, people do mostly worry about "Data Loss in the cloud". Furthermore, "Lack of Control", "Accidental exposure", and "Companies trading your personal data" are also the concerns of people.

Second Thoughts?

Looking at the pie chart 50% of people do hesitate to store their important personal data. However, there are also 40% (four people) stated that they do not hesitate to store their important personal data. The rest 10% ha(s)ve never thought about it.

Concerns?

People mostly have concerns about "Data Leakage", However, they also state "Lack of Control" and "Storage Gateways" are mostly their concerns.

Expectations?

Expectations of people are an important matter for storing and sharing services software and applications. As we can see from the graph people do expect Privacy, Security, and more Storage Place. While they still want Price-Performance and Greater control over data. The first three mentioned are more important to the people who answered this questionnaire.

Confront any data securing problem?

According to the pie chart, 60% of the people did not confront any problems. However, 30% of people are not sure if they actually came across any problem or not. Surprisingly only 10% ha(s)ve confronted a problem.

Problems came across? 

The question was asked but it was an optional question so couldn't get the answer required.

Favorite software/service?

Asked people, if they have any favorite software/service for data storing and sharing. While 70% said "yes", 30% responded as "never thought about it".

Suggestion?

Suggestions were requested from people, and from people who gave suggestions we got; iCloud and Google Drive. 

Suggestions for awareness

Suggestions were requested again and got 5 suggestions from people who answered the questionnaire.

Suggestions given are;

Make sure that service/software is trusted

Private can be used to increase security

Scanning devices often to check for viruses

Google (was given but not clear what it is referring to)

Provide detailed privacy policy (for developer)
